The stainless steel porous cup is optimized for use with seed. grains and lentils.  It includes measuring lines to eliminate the need for a separate measuring cup. Floating grains are kept in check as the water flows through the cup, rather than allowing the grains to escape into the drain. Use the wiper to gently sweep rice, grains, seeds and lentils into the the bowl or pot.
